Vintage Car Garage

Originally constructed in the 1970s, this structure was completely transformed into a highly customized space for the client’s extensive automobile collection. The renovation reimagined the existing building as both a functional storage facility and a personal retreat, with carefully designed spaces for displaying, maintaining, and enjoying a collection of classic and modern vehicles.

The architectural design draws inspiration from the local Shingle Style tradition as well as a neighboring historic train station. Deep soffits, substantial supporting brackets, and cedar shingle siding give the building a strong sense of character while allowing it to feel naturally connected to its surroundings.

Inside, the garage was designed with a high-ceilinged main display area, providing ample space for vehicle storage and lifts, while an adjoining loft creates a more intimate setting for work, relaxation, and displaying the client’s automotive memorabilia.
