Jamestown Shores

Originally built in the 1970s, this Jamestown, Rhode Island residence was purchased for its exceptional waterfront setting and generous footprint, but required a complete transformation to reflect the character of its surroundings and the way the homeowners wanted to live. 

The interior was completely reconfigured to create an open, light-filled floor plan with a clean, modern aesthetic. At the same time, the exterior was thoughtfully redesigned to better reflect the architectural character of Jamestown. The existing roof structure was rebuilt with a steeper pitch, new dormers were introduced, and a welcoming front porch was added to give the home a more traditional coastal presence.

By combining architectural design, construction expertise, and a detailed understanding of the existing structure, we transformed this  dated 1970s house into a contemporary coastal residence that feels both fresh and firmly rooted in its Jamestown setting.
